Encouragement seems an appropriate word for our first round of Journal Quilts. Thanks Barb for the word.
I will start us off by posting mine, it's a Fiddlehead Fern, which always makes me feel encouraged when I see them coming up in the spring. Especially this year with the late snowfall we had on May 18th.
I use fabric that I gelatin printed 2 summers ago, & bead & wire embellished. I decided to make my journal round, just for the fun of it. I'm using a junk mail CD for my template.
